JEFFREY SMITH, DPT, CERT MDT,
LAKEVIEW OFFICE
Jeff is the owner and founder of both Lakeview and Airline Physical Therapy and Spine. A New Orleans native, Jeff has been practicing physical therapy for 15 years. He has extensive experience in physical therapy, and is also the owner and founder of Alpha Rehabilitation Services, a company that provides home health physical, occupational, and speech therapy services for homebound patients.
He has taken numerous continuing education courses, and holds certifications in both Integrated Systemic Dry Needling and the world renowned McKenzie Method. He is one of only a handful of physical therapists in the state of Louisiana to be certified in the McKenzie Method, which provides a reliable and effective way to treat spine and extremity pain and empowers patients to take control of their own condition.
Jeff attended Brother Martin High School where he was a state champion wrestler, and does a yearly career day presentation for students considering physical therapy as a profession. In his spare time Jeff enjoys running, exercising, gardening, and spending time with his wife Stephanie and their 4 children. Jeff currently resides in Lakeview and is very enthusiastic about bringing high quality care for patients in the Greater New Orleans area.
KYLE GERVAIS, PTA

Kyle Gervais is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who has been involved in the field of physical therapy since 2013. Kyle was raised in Chalmette and is a proud alumnus of Holy Cross High School. He earned his degree in Applied Science and Physical Therapy from Delgado Community College in 2019.
He trained with the McKenzie Institute to specialize in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. The McKenzie Method is a resourceful way to treat spine and extremity pain, giving the patient the skills needed to help treat themselves. Kyle also has extensive experience with manual therapy techniques, including Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilizations (IASTM) and cupping therapy. In addition to working in the clinic, Kyle also works for Alpha Rehabilitation Services, LLC to provide physical therapy services to homebound patients.
Outside of work, Kyle lives with his wife Ashley, their son Parker, and their two dogs. In his spare time he enjoys exercising, gardening, and cooking. He is also a member of the Hupigs BBQ team, proudly participating in Hogs for the Cause. Kyle is thrilled to be given the opportunity to provide personalized care to the residents of Lakeview and the greater New Orleans area.
CLAIRE DAVID, DPT, CERT MDT

Claire David is a licensed Physical Therapist born and raised in New Orleans, and currently resides in Lakeview. She is a graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican High School, Louisiana State University with a BS in Kinesiology, and earned the degree of Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX in 2020.
Claire has practiced as a Physical Therapist for 4 years, and is a certified clinician in the McKenzie method, also known as Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). She is certified in dry needling, and uses taping, cupping, and IASTM (soft tissue mobilization) techniques to help restore the function and mobility of her patients. She is passionate about her work as a Home Health Physical Therapist, where she helps patients get back to a healthy life at home.
Outside of the world of physical therapy, Claire enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, seeing live music, and checking out new restaurants with friends and family. She loves any form of exercise from barre to kickboxing to running, and she is a certified yoga teacher (YTT 200) as of May 2022.
She looks forward to meeting new patients, helping them to design a plan with their specific needs in mind, and provide compassionate care for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
JAYSON DELEAUMONT, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Jayson is the clinical director of our Airline location. Jayson is a New Orleans native who attended Brother Martin High School, LSU, and LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He graduated from the LSUHSC Physical Therapy Program with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2014.
He has practiced as a Physical Therapist for over 10 years with a special interest in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. During that time, he has achieved the prestigious recognition of Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, as recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association. He is also certified in Integrative Dry Needling. He has spent years furthering his education in order to provide the highest quality of care to his patients, and is currently working on becoming certified in the McKenzie Method, or MDT.
When he is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée and their two dogs. He plays rugby recreationally with the New Orleans Rugby Club, the Pontchartrain Po Boys, and New Orleans Touch Rugby Club. He also enjoys exercising, spending time with friends, and traveling in his spare time.

Trai Nguyen is the newest member of our clinical staff. He is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who joined our team in the Fall of 2024.
